Friday I took the tractor out to cut the drive way and a few hiking paths. It was HOT & HUMID, one of those 95/95 evenings (95 degrees and 95% humidity). The dust blowing up was terrible and made a mess. When I got back to the house I took the tractor over by the air compressor like I alway do to blow off the dust and dirt. It was filthy! I get around to the back of the tractor and I notice the right rear wheel is soaked with something. At first I thought I punctured the tire and ballast fluid was leaking out. Then I noticed the other tire was the same, soaked and coverd with wet dust now mud. I figured the chances of having two punctures at the same time was highly unlikely and thought it was oil. I touched and smelled it...... its water. I could not figure out where it was coming from. Then it dawned on me that I had the tractor in my basement which stays VERY cool with the A/C on upstairs and two dehumidifiers going. The wheel hubs were sweating from humidity condensation build up from being much cooler than the dew point of the humid air. Anyway, it is a point to remember if it ever happens to you. Had me going for a few minutes.

Let me get this straight. Your tractor gets to live in air conditioned comfort? And I thought my 4310 was lucky having a nice roomy and dry garage bay all to itself. I have to keep this quiet, my 4310 will turn green with envy. Whoops, too late, it's already happened :) ....

Besides the garage on the end of the house; the downstairs garage is the only other place I have to keep it in doors. The other garage usually has the Whaler in it. ....

check your fluids the same moisture outside the diff can form inside the diff. ....

Rest of the fluids are good. When it is that hot outside, it doesn't take to long for the oil to get hot enough to evaporate off any condensation. A very good point, none the less. ....

I'll try my hand at an explanation. It is an odd occurrence so my explanation seems to be some odd thinking even for me.
I wonder if the moisture simply came from the vegetation? The idea here is that it was the evening and very humid day. Generally it sounds like the sort of conditions we get around here that produce fog in early evening. The temperature could have dropped below dew point. The vegetation could cool down faster than the ground and condensation could form on it while the warmer ground still could be dusty.
Don't know. Just a possibility. Somehow, I can't quite see the axle housings and wheels staying like a cold bottle of beer on a hot day after maybe an hour or more of operation. However, if there is liquid tire fill that would make a lot of thermal mass and maybe could keep the rear wheels chilled. Ahh liquid tire fill and air condition seems like a more realistic explanation--maybe.

Tom, it was just the rear wheels and they are fluid filled. About 55 gallon each. Definitely some thermal mass there. The rest of the tractor was dry including the front tires and wheels. ....

I mis-read the initial post and thought you had condensation on the metal parts. It would made perfect sense that your tires would do what you describe.
Apparently you have a very cool tractor. Bet the boat is jealous. ....

I bet your garage even has carpet. My three tractors would kill to have a airconditioned garage. The 214, and 312 live in the garage. The 955 is living outside until the shed for it gets built. But the funny part is my commerical mowers live in my airconditioned repair shop behide my house. ....
